Over and over again, Christ invites us to bring our needs to God in prayer. These words from the gospel of Matthew (7:7-11) are but one example of His teaching on this:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then… know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!”
If you have any need in your life today that you would like to bring to God in prayer, we encourage you to simply speak to Him from your heart, as you would with a friend. No need to use fancy or religious words, just be real and honest! He promises to listen…
And you don’t have to carry this burden alone… you can call the Journey Center office, or fill out this prayer form, and we will join you in lifting this need to God, in the name of Christ, for He said in Matthew 18:20…
“I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in My Name, there am I with them.”
So, don’t hesitate to let us know how we can be praying for you!
