Encounter God - Be Renewed
In March we will meet again at Crane Creek Regional Park. All ages welcome! You will need a Regional Parks Pass or $7 to park. From the parking lot you walk to the right, past the bathrooms, go through the gate and follow the path over a bridge and through another gate. You’ll find us under a lovely buckeye tree. It takes 5 minutes to walk there.
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Feel free to bring a lunch and explore the hiking trails afterward.
Wild Journey is an emerging community of those who are returning to nature as spiritual practice and desire to include both the human and non-human world. Wild Journey is Christ-centered AND welcoming to all spiritual paths. We meet in various locations within the Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed rain or shine.
“I longed for church to be a place where Mystery is experienced not explained.” – Victoria Loorz, Church of the Wild
There are 4 movements within our time together:
Gathering & Grounding: Welcome, Greeting the land and each other, Grounding practice
Reading & Reflection: Poems, Seasonal thoughts & ponderings
Wandering & Wondering: aprox 20 minutes to encounter nature and listen deeply
Sharing & Sending: return to the circle to share and close with a blessing
You are also invited to linger in community afterwards. Bring a lunch and stay awhile for deeper conversation.
Bring a chair or blanket, dress in layers and comfortable shoes. You may want a journal to record your thoughts.
If you would like to join us, please reach out to [email protected] to be added to a mailing list that will receive the next meeting dates and locations.
