Join us for an afternoon to celebrate Fran Carbonaro’s newly published book of poetry – Out of the Blue
We will enjoy a reading by the author, Q&A and the opportunity to purchase signed copies of her work. After some refreshments, we will have an Open Mic for others to share their creativity and beauty.

Out of the generosity of Fran’s heart, a portion of the sales will benefit the Journey Center.
Fran Carbonaro is the daughter of first-generation Sicilian-Americans whose roots were in Brooklyn before moving to the East Bay, where she was born in 1951. Her early years found her straddling disparate realities and artistic devotion was the glue that held it all together. After moving to Sonoma County in 1976, Fran performed as a vocalist with rock bands, jazz ensembles and in local theater, which kept her on stage for many years. It was writing poetry that always brought her home. I’m Still Alive was released 2018, an album of spoken word & song. Out of the Blue is her first poetry collection.
